If you have completed an Honours, Diploma or 4th year degree, and received your qualification in 2025 from a Queensland tertiary institution, you can submit your entomology-based thesis or report for consideration. The application form is on the ESQ website under ‘Awards’. Submit a pdf copy of your report/thesis with the form to entsocqld.secretary@gmail.com.
Winner receives $500! Announced during May general meeting. The winner is invited to present their thesis research findings at the June Notes & Exhibit meeting.

Regular Meetings
ESQ general meetings are held every second Tuesday of the month* at 1pm at the Ecoscience Precinct in Dutton Park, Brisbane (see maps below). There is no need to sign in to the ground floor Seminar Room 1.
There is limited street parking available so Public transport is highly recommended. Visitors are always welcome.
*except January, February and July
