Conservation Graduate Internship
01st June 2026
Australia has never produced a national map of Key Invertebrate Areas (KIA) – the critical habitats and sites that invertebrates need most. Funded by the Erica Foundation, this up to 12-month paid internship is dedicated entirely to producing Australia’s first national KIA map. The successful intern will apply the internationally recognised Key Biodiversity Area (KBA) methodology to invertebrate distribution data from the Atlas of Living Australia and iNaturalist, working with a world-class team of mentors and partners.
